Are you a licensed company?
Yes. We are a fully licensed remodeling company with the City of Chicago and due to the amount of municipalities in Cook County, we make sure we are licensed in that suburb before the project begins.
Is your company insured?
Yes. We issue upon request a certificate of liability insurance making the customer the certificate holder.
Are any liens put on my property while the work is in progress?
We do not file any liens. If requested a waiver of lien will be issued upon completion of your project.
Are you listed with the better business bureau?
Yes we are, and we're proud to have received the BBB “complaint free award” for 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, & 2007.
How long has your company been in business?
Elite Home Builders was started 1997. The owner of the company has over 14 years remodeling experience working for several other companies prior to opening Elite.
Can you supply me with names of customers you have done remodeling for?
Without a doubt!! After we discuss your project, names and numbers will be furnished upon request.
What kind of payment programs do you have?
We have several banks and lenders we work with depending on your credit situation. We offer home improvement loans, debt consolidation programs and fha financing upon approved credit. Visa, mastercard, & discover are also accepted.please go to the finance section for more information.
Is your work guaranteed?
Yes. We offer an exclusive 3 year labor warranty which covers all labor. Most companies offer a one year warranty. Generally, materials have limited warranties directly from their manufacturers.
What if i need to get in touch with you while my project is in progress?
You will be given your sales persons direct cell number so they are accessible. A representative will be at your home almost everyday to check on the progress of the project and answer any questions or concerns you may have.
Do you clean up when the job is completed?
Yes we do. We clean up and remove any and all debris caused by our job. Your Chicago home is left in “broom-clean” condition.
